I am still taking pictures faithfully everyday, but the professor downloaded the memory stick last and now the computer doesn't recognize it. He's a smart one...that professor is.

I love a good surprise! Seeing the look on my dad's face when he saw that my siblings all flew/drove in for his retirement was priceless. Two brothers and myself, not shown here:) And yes, this one could easily be cast as the young "Snape."

I have spent a lot of time lately getting reacquainted with an old love. As it turns out,  I love it even more than before. 

January 20th Day 20

This innocent looking boy is equal parts naughty and cute. He is the sole reason yesterday's office disaster is still in that state. Emma's friend brought over apples, mini-marshmallows and toothpicks to make "chickens" and he promptly took them apart and ate the entire apple. And the "I think this boy is so cute I could pinch his face off" part of me was just so proud of him for eating the apple, not the marshmallows.

My dad, on the right, retires after 31 years of devoted service to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  He worked in the information systems department. They had a wonderful program put together for him which included a heartfelt walk down memory lane from Elder Gene R. Cook(not pictured), one of my parents dear friends from their time spent in Germany. Proud of my dad and all that he has done.

January 17th Day 17

Items I listed on ksl today. Minus the exersaucer which sold in 10 minutes and the Christmas tree, computer and tv which I haven't lugged upstairs yet. Someone is coming to get the clip on chair in the morning and Paul took a van full of stuff to the DI today. It feels good to clear out!

I didn't even make it a month without having to resort to taking an end of the day and everybody is already asleep picture.  This little project of mine is proving harder than I thought. And I'm coming to realize that my life is even more boring than I previously imagined.

I thought I'd make a game of it because really, who doesn't love a game?  I may just do this periodically on those all to often ho-hum days.
